Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in any activity (including but not limited to programs, classes and events) offered by Little Stars Sports Club & Facilities Management LLC., Trade License No. CN-1283536, Abu Dhabi, UAE (hereinafter referred to as “Little Stars”), I, as the participant and/or the legal guardian of a minor participant, hereby acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms & Conditions outlined in this document. These Terms are intended to promote the safety, well-being, and positive experience of all participants and to ensure the effective operation of Little Stars’ programs and facilities.

 

By proceeding with registration, I confirm that I am voluntarily choosing to participate, or allow my child(ren) to participate, in activities at Little Stars. I accept the responsibilities and inherent risks associated with such participation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I, on behalf of myself, my child(ren), and our heirs, assigns, and personal representatives, agree to be bound by these Terms and waive any claims as further outlined herein. I acknowledge that this agreement constitutes a binding legal contract.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGMENT & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Participation in activities at Little Stars may involve exposure to infectious agents such as viruses, bacteria, or other communicable conditions commonly found in group physical settings. By registering, I acknowledge and accept these health-related risks, and agree that I and/or my child(ren) will comply with all applicable health and safety measures issued by UAE health authorities, including the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi, or implemented by Little Stars for the safety of all participants.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I, my spouse, my child(ren), and on behalf of our heirs, assigns, and personal representatives, waive and release any and all claims against Little Stars, its owners, employees, and volunteers related to illness, infection, or other health-related outcomes that may arise through participation in Little Stars programs or use of its facilities.

 

ASSUMPTION OF RISK, CONSENT AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

Participation in gymnastics and related activities at Little Stars involves inherent risks due to height, rotation, equipment uses, and physical exertion.

 

I certify that I/my child(ren) am/is/are in good health and physically able to take part in such activities. I am not aware of any condition that would prevent safe participation and agree to inform Little Stars of any relevant health concerns prior to involvement.

I understand that, despite all reasonable precautions and safety measures taken by Little Stars, participation in physical activities may expose myself and/or my child(ren) to inherent risks including but not limited to minor injuries, serious bodily harm, or in rare cases, permanent disability or death. I voluntarily accept and assume all such risks on behalf of myself and/or my child(ren).

 

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I, my spouse, my child(ren), and our heirs, assigns, and personal representatives, hereby waive and release Little Stars, its owners, employees, and volunteers from liability for any injury or damages arising from inherent risks or ordinary negligence related to participation in Little Stars activities. Nothing in this agreement shall exclude or limit liability for gross negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct.

MEDICAL RELEASE

I fully understand that the staff members of Little Stars are not licensed physicians or medical practitioners. I acknowledge that any assistance provided by staff is limited to basic first aid and emergency response. In the event that I or my child(ren) become ill or injured during participation in Little Stars activities or while on its premises, I hereby authorize Little Stars employees, volunteers, or representatives to:

 

  • Administer temporary first aid;

  • Contact emergency medical services as needed;

  • Facilitate transportation to the nearest suitable medical facility, including by ambulance or private vehicle, if deemed necessary.

 

I explicitly authorize the above emergency actions to be taken on behalf of my child(ren) in the event that I, as the parent or legal guardian, am not physically present at the facility. I understand that this authorization is granted solely for emergency situations where timely action is required. I further acknowledge that all subsequent or ongoing medical care must be provided by qualified professionals and remains my responsibility as the parent or guardian.

 

I confirm that I have provided up-to-date emergency contact information and will notify Little Stars of any changes promptly.

 

IMAGE AND VIDEO RELEASE

  • I understand that individual and group photographs or video recordings may be taken during Little Stars classes, events and activities for the purposes of marketing, promotion, training, or documentation. By enrolling in Little Stars activities, I grant permission for images or video footage of myself and/or my child(ren) to be captured and used by Little Stars in print and digital media, including but not limited to social media, websites, promotional materials, and internal training resources. I understand that this usage will be non-commercial and that no compensation or further notice will be provided.

  • Little Stars may occasionally share identifiable photographs or names of participants (e.g., for team participation, competition highlights, or recognition posts) across its platforms including brochures, website, and social media. These uses will always be respectful and in line with UAE privacy and child protection laws. Parents who do not consent must notify Little Stars in writing prior to participation.

  • All images used will be handled with respect and in accordance with UAE privacy laws and Wadeema’s Law.

  • If I do not consent to the use of such media, I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to notify Little Stars in writing prior to participation by contacting info@littlestarsabudhabi.com. Little Stars will make every reasonable effort to respect such requests and exclude the child from media documentation where practical.

 

GROUP CLASSES (GENERAL TERMS)

a) Enrollment & Payment Policy

  • Space in group class is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A participant’s spot is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

  • For term enrollments, fees will be prorated only if registration occurs after the term has started, calculated from the date of registration. Fees cannot be prorated for a future start date and will not be adjusted if a participant chooses to miss classes or withdraw for personal reasons during the term.

  • For holiday programs, proration is not available on any packages, passes, or promotional offers.

  • Trial classes are offered once to new students and are subject to availability. Participation in a trial does not guarantee a spot in the program, a place is only secured upon completion of full registration and payment.

  • Requests to change the day, time, or group a participant is registered to will be considered based on availability. While we will make every effort to accommodate such requests, changes are not guaranteed and must be approved by the administration.

  • Enrollment is subject to approval and may be declined at the sole discretion of Little Stars.
     

b) Make-up Policy 

  • Due to limited class capacity, participants may only attend on the specific day(s) confirmed at the time of registration. Missed classes are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

  • The club remains open during public and school holidays throughout the term unless otherwise notified by the administration. If a participant chooses not to attend during these periods for personal reasons while classes are running, make-up sessions will not be offered.

 

c) Refund Policy

  • All sales are final. Tuition fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in exceptional circumstances determined, and at the sole discretion of Little Stars. In such cases, a credit for future use may be granted instead of a refund, if deemed appropriate. All administrative and registration fees are strictly non-refundable.

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@littlestarsabudhabi.com  and may require supporting documents. Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and approval is not guaranteed. If approved, refunds are prorated from the date written notice is received, with an administrative processing fee of AED 105 deducted from the total amount.

 

d) Class Assignments

We reserve the right to move a participant to a different class if the age or skill prerequisites outlined for the booked class are not met. Our priority is to ensure that each participant is placed in an appropriate class for their level of ability and development. If such a situation arises, we will contact you to discuss alternative options. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the best possible gymnastics experience for you and/or your child(ren).

 

e) Class Access & Scheduling

  • We ask participants to arrive on time so they can fully participate in the warm-up, which is essential for preparing the body, improving focus, and reducing the risk of injury.

  • Proper athletic attire must be worn during classes (leotards with shorts/leggings or fitted athletic wear with hair neatly tied back). No jewelry, skirts, or loose clothing are permitted for safety reasons. Shoes are not allowed inside the training area, and socks are not recommended.

  • Participants cannot use equipment without supervision from a coach or without permission.

  • To prevent accidents or distraction parents/guardians, siblings, or any other visitors that are not enrolled in a class are not permitted inside the training area unless they are taking part in a parent participation class or accompanying their child to open gym (1 parent/guardian per child). Viewing is possible from designated spectator area only (bleachers).

  • Parents are requested to ensure timely arrival for pick-up. If you choose to leave the premises during your child’s session, please aim to arrive 10–15 minutes before the end of class to allow for a smooth and timely pick-up.

  • Food and drink are allowed only in spectator area. 

  • Parents/guardians are not allowed to approach coaches during an active class.

  • No person within the gymnastics area shall behave in such a manner as to jeopardize the safety, health and enjoyment of himself/herself and others.

  • Any injury must be reported to the front desk immediately.

  • If a student is dismissed because of improper conduct or unsafe behavior, the term fees are not refunded.

  • Class schedules and group assignments may occasionally be adjusted by Little Stars based on operational needs or the developmental needs of students. Parents will be notified in advance should such changes occur.

  • Little Stars is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or cancellations due to unforeseen events beyond its control, such as government restrictions, natural disasters, pandemics, or force majeure. This includes but is not limited to pandemics, acts of God, government restrictions, or other unforeseen disruptions.
     

 PRIVATE CLASSES

  • Private sessions must be scheduled in advance with the administration and are subject to availability of both coaching staff and gym space. Bookings cannot be made directly with a coach.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at 50% of session rate.

  • Cancellations with less than 6 hours' notice and no shows are charged as class attended (full class fee)

  • Rescheduling requests made within the cancellation window are subject to availability. If the coach is unavailable at the newly requested time, the applicable cancellation fee will still apply.

  • To keep our schedule running smoothly, late arrivals may result in a shortened session. All sessions will end at the scheduled time to respect subsequent bookings and staff commitments.

  • Class fees must be paid in advance to booking confirmation.

 

By attending Private Classes, you agree to these specific terms in addition to the General Terms & Conditions of Little Stars, including the refund and cancellation policies.

 

COMPETITIONS & EVENTS

  • Participation may be subject to selection and eligibility criteria.

  • Fees must be paid in full by the stated deadline to confirm registration.

  • Competition/event fees are non-refundable unless the activity is canceled.

  • Families are responsible for travel, accommodation, and related expenses unless stated otherwise.

 

By attending Competitions & Events, you agree to these specific terms in addition to the General Terms & Conditions of Little Stars, including the refund and cancellation policies.

 

OPEN GYM

Open Gym provides unstructured access to the gymnastics facility for participants aged 2 years and older.

​

  • Children aged 2 to 10 must be actively supervised by one (1) parent or guardian at all times.

  • Additional adults that would like to accompany a child during open gym will be charged an additional open gym entry fee.

  • Children 11 years and older may attend independently if a parent/guardian remains on the premises.

  • During open gym, participants may use any equipment or stations not currently occupied by any active class.

  • Coaching is not provided during open gym; staff are present only to monitor safety and assist with general questions.

  • Parents/guardians are fully responsible for their child’s safety and behavior during open gym.

  • All participants must follow safety rules and staff instructions.

  • Rough play or misuse of equipment is prohibited.

  • Proper athletic attire is required. No food, drink, shoes or socks are allowed in the training area.

  • Entry is valid only for the time slot booked.

  • Little Stars reserves the right to refuse entry or request a participant to leave if safety or conduct is compromised.

 

By participating in Open Gym, participants and/or their guardians acknowledge the unstructured nature of the activity and assume full responsibility for safety and conduct.

 

By attending Open Gym, you agree to these specific terms in addition to the General Terms & Conditions of Little Stars, including the refund and cancellation policies.

 

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Little Stars is not responsible for lost or forgotten personal items. While we maintain a lost and found box and will make every effort to recover missing belongings, we cannot guarantee the return of any items left on the premises.

 

CONDUCT & TERMINATION OF ENROLLMENT

Little Stars reserves the right to terminate the enrollment of any member (including students and/or their guardians) under the following circumstances:

a) Immediate Termination Without Notice:

  • If the conduct of a student or their guardian, whether or not the subject of a formal complaint, is, in the reasonable opinion of the management, harmful to the values, safety, or reputation of Litte Stars.

  • If a student or their guardian commits any serious or repeated breach of the Terms & Conditions or Code of Conduct.

  • If a student or guardian is found to have broken any applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.

  • If a student or guardian behaves in a rude, aggressive, abusive, or disrespectful manner toward staff, other members, students, or visitors. This includes but is not limited to the use of inappropriate, foul, or offensive language.

  • If any tuition, registration, or other dues remain unpaid beyond the due date despite reminders.

b)Upon written notice

  • If a student or guardian is not a suitable participant in the training environment.

No refunds will be given upon immediate termination. All property must be returned, and any outstanding balances settled.

 

DATA PRIVACY

By enrolling in Little Stars programs, classes, events, or activities, I acknowledge and consent to the collection, storage, and processing of personal data (including my/ my child’s name, contact details, medical information, and other relevant details) for the purposes of registration, safety, communication, and general administration. Little Stars will take all reasonable steps to ensure that such information is handled securely and will not disclose personal data to third parties without consent, except where required by law or government authorities in the United Arab Emirates.

GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Abu Dhabi.
